We are pleased to release Stobox’s monthly report for two three months — January and February March, April, May — combined. This report helps Stobox investors, team members, fans, and regular users track the company’s progress, achievements, and challenges.
Before we go into the working details of the development of Stobox companies, I would like, first of all, to tell you what is happening in Ukraine 🇺🇦 now and how it affects life in general.
In the early morning of February 24, Russia, without declaring war, attacked Ukraine. The infantry of fascist Russia, reinforced by heavy military equipment, entered the territory of Ukraine in 2 directions: East (Kharkiv) and Center (Kyiv). The invasion is accompanied by air raids and bombing. At first, military and infrastructure facilities were the targets, but as soon as the enemy realized that Ukraine would not surrender, on the contrary, it would defend its country to the last - an order was given to shoot at the civilian population. To date, the enemy has not taken a single city in Ukraine, but he managed to destroy what was built for decades. Today, hundreds of thousands of people have already lost their homes, hundreds are held captive by Russian fascists, thousands of Ukrainian soldiers and civilians, and children have been killed in this vile war unleashed by the dictator. To date, more than 2.5 million refugees have left Ukraine. At the core are women and children, since, by order of the government, men aged 18-60 cannot leave the country.At the moment, 70 people are involved in the large Stobox team, of which 40 people are in Ukraine. All these 40 people are involved in exclusively peaceful professions: programmers, copywriters, project managers, marketers, designers, analysts, lawyers, and so on. Some of the team members, along with their families, moved to the safer territory of Western Ukraine, some members, including Borys Pikalov, Ross Shemeliak, Igor Haleta (Unlicensed), and myself (Gene Deyev) stayed outside Ukraine before the start of the war. Part of the team remained in Kyiv and other cities, where there is a constant air raid, military equipment is on the streets, and the most hopeful place is a bomb shelter. In addition to our team, we employ programmers from other IT companies, mainly in Kharkiv and eastern Ukraine. Unfortunately, now people there do not think about work, they think about how to save their lives and the lives of their children.
To date, most of our team has been relocated to more reliable locations and continues to work, despite the difficult living conditions.
I will not go into the details of politics, but we all understand that this war will not end quickly, and having won, it will take us decades to restore the country and the standard of living. Based on this, most people will not return home. Over the past 2 weeks, we have once again proved to each other that Stobox is a strong close-knit team, a big family with which it is easier to endure any life difficulties. Many of our team members are also volunteers and members of the territorial defense, providing humanitarian and sponsorship assistance to the people of Ukraine.
